Teachers’ Day Celebration (05.09.2019)

“Students are fortune of a Nation while Teachers are the builders of a Nation”.

Teaching is the noblest profession of the world as it shapes the character, caliber and future of individual. Teachers can change the lives with just the right mix of chalk and challenges.

Teachers’ Day is celebrated all over India on 5th September to honour the contribution of the teachers to make a better society and country. This day is celebrated in the memory of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishanan, a great scholar, philosopher, 2nd President of India and most importantly a Teacher.

Saraf Public school celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm in its premises. The teachers were welcomed with Tika ceremony. The event started with pious lamp lightning ceremony by the Principal and some of the senior teachers. The audience were left spellbound and mesmerised by the spectacular presentations by Sarafians with their feet tapping performances and inspiring speeches as well as songs. The celebration was a fun filled event for all the teachers. Teachers were made to participate in different games. Teachers were acknowledged for their contributions and given a token of gratitude by the Principal, Mr. Ajay Bansal.
