Inter-House Dance Competition (21.10.2019)
“Dance is the hidden language of the soul”. Folk dance is a wonderful way to introduce young children to the world’s rich diversity and enables them to teach the enjoyment of dance, music and rhythm. It also provides opportunity for socialization and room for self-expression. It improves self-esteem too.
To showcase the hidden talents of the students, Saraf Public School organized an Inter-House folk dance competition for the students of Classes VIII, IX & XI.
Students from all the four houses participated in the competition with great enthusiasm. They were in colourful attires and expressions and moves. The vivacious dancers set the floor on fire with their energetic performances.
All the four houses performed different folk dance forms of Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujrat and Haryana. All the four houses performed wonderfully with great zeal and enthusiasm. The spectators complimented the efforts put in by all the four houses. It was indeed a spectacular show and a memorable one too.
