Career Counselling Workshop for Class IX to XII Students
A Career counselling workshop was held for the students from class IX to XII and their parents. This workshop was conducted for identifying the real potential and guiding the students towards a right career path.
Mr. Ritesh Jain, the Resource Person, conducted this session by reiterating the importance of knowing one’s potential and subject of interest before making a decision. He reinforced the basic factors in choosing one’s career which employee aptitude, interest, ability and personality. He discussed with the students that an ideal job is a combination of what one loves, what one is good at and what pays well. He reiterated that student should be able to identify their subject choices with combinations of each course for future prospects. He briefed them about various leading universities and business schools and the need for a preparatory program for each student seeking admission for the same. The session was quite interactive. The students cleared all their doubts and queries regarding subject selection and career. The students were highly satisfied with the session and felt it beneficial. The parents who attended the workshop were highly satisfied and many of them enrolled for personal counselling. Personal counselling session consisted of aptitude test, personal interview and discussion with parent. Each and everyone who attended the session was highly contented and gave positive feedbacks.
